Lots of new media has been released for Malin’s upcoming movie, “Couples Retreat”! There is a poster, production stills and trailer now online! I have added the poster and stills to our gallery, you can view those by clicking on the thumbnail to the left of this post. The trailer is now online at Apple.com/Trailers - go on over there to view it now! (I’ll be adding captures from the trailer asap)

The film is going to be released on October 9, 2009 and the film’s website is going to be located at CouplesRetreatMovie.com.

Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis, Kristen Bell and Faizon Love star in Universal Pictures’ upcoming comedy Couples Retreat. Based on an original idea of Vaughn’s, the comedy follows four Midwestern couples who embark on a journey to a tropical island resort. While one of the couples is there to work on their marriage, the other three set out to jet ski, spa and enjoy some fun in the sun. They soon discover that participation in the resort’s couples therapy is not optional. Suddenly, their group-rate vacation comes at a price. What follows is a hilarious look at real world problems faced by all couples. The film also stars Kali Hawk and Jean Reno.

FirstShowing.net has added the first trailer, said to be a Must Watch, for Universal’s new film Couples Retreat.

Mike and Trent are back! Universal has debuted the first trailer for Couples Retreat on Apple today. Just looking at the cast, I’d say this is the ensemble comedy of the year. Here are the four couples: Kristen Bell and Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau and Kristin Davis, Vince Vaughn and Malin Akerman, and Faizon Love and Kali Hawk. This seems like one hell of a wild, quirky, fun comedy, what more can I say? It also looks a lot like Forgetting Sarah Marshall but with four couples instead of just one. Upping the ante, so to say. I’m certainly looking forward to this. And don’t forget, A.R. Rahman is scoring Couples Retreat as well. Enjoy!

I have uploaded captures of Malin from her two guest appearance episodes on the TV show “Entourage” into our gallery. She played the character of Tori, who was best friends with Sloan (played by Emmanuelle Chriqui) and becomes the love interest of Sloan’s boyfriend.

Composer/musician A.R. Rahman, who picked up two Oscars for his work on “Slumdog Millionaire,” will compose the score for Universal’s upcoming comedy “Couples Retreat.”

It will be Rahman’s first score for an American film.

“Couples,” directed by Peter Billingsley, stars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis, Kristen Bell and Faizon Love and is based on an original idea of Vaughn’s about four Midwestern couples who embark on a journey to a tropical island resort.

Vaughn is producing for his Wild West Picture Show Productions alongside Scott Stuber for Stuber Productions.
